We stayed for 2 nights as we wanted to do a day trip around the area and this was the perfect base for us. The room was quite big as was the bathroom and all rooms in our wing had a door opening to quite a large open space with small individual tables and chair for each room to relax at. Didn’t try the in-house dining option. Would stay again.

Our room ranked among the worst we have encountered in many years of road travel. It was well past its use-by date, to say the least. We might have accepted that had it not also been dirty, poorly furnished and uncomfortable.

A terrible motel
Hi Jen, thanks for contacting me. Do you understand this situation correctly? What on earth is this? How should I understand this situation? I trusted Hotels.com and made a reservation through your platform, but I am very disappointed that you cannot resolve the issue. I'll say it again, because I didn't get the room promised by Hotels.com and the motel, so they gave me a room that couldn't sleep for all of us, and they didn't replace it and didn't cancel the double payment, so aren't they scamming customers? I know you are a global brand, but it is difficult to understand how you handle things this way. If so, I will try to find a solution, whether legal or otherwise. This is an obvious fraud. I made a payment through your platform, and then made another payment on site.

From the review score on Wotif, it made this place sound decent. Don't believe it. When we drove in to the reception area, you could tell how old and unkept the place was with a hole in the wall from broken bricks. Going into the reception was met by a friendly lady who took payment and gave me the key and directed me where to park. We opened the room and saw how outdated it was, with dirt marks on the walls, and turned on the air conditioning to be blasted in the face with a STRONG mould smell, I went straight to the reception to complain and met the same person who said "I'm sorry I just cleaned the room yesterday after people were living in there for 4 months smoking marijuana" The person came in and took the air conditioning apart and cleaned it, after that it was fine . Free wifi speeds were fairly bad, 5mbps down/ 4mbps up, but it's free wifi, so can't say much about that. Next morning we woke up to get ready for the day, and ran the shower for 15 minutes to find there was no hot water at all, being a cold morning I understand it can take a bit to warm up, but after 15 minutes you'd think it would maybe even get lukewarm, but no. After this i decided that was enough and when leaving, I went into reception and told them that it wasn't good enough, our stay was unpleasant and I wanted a refund, and that if she didn't believe us that the room was that bad, I took pictures to show her. She said that she would only give a refund if I deleted all the photos, and I did
