The hotel is undergoing building works, but other than the view of diggers and contractors vehicles, it did not really cause an issue. The rooms were nicely refurbished. The food was excellent. When we booked, we chose the hotel partly because it had a pool. When we checked-in the pool had been closed permanently which was disappointing. Overall a very pleasant stay and walking distance to Ebrington.

We stayed here to visit friends who live really close to the hotel. As this is a "contactless hotel" there is no reception to check in or out. You should receive a text/email the day before your stay telling you the access code to gain entry to the hotel, your room number and code to open the key safe on the wall outside your room. This worked well for us but you do need to check that you have received this as I don't know what you would do if you didn't have this info. The staff were around in the morning and they were polite and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again.

"Beautiful surroundings, able to walk freely enjoying the scenery. The property itself was lovely apart from a few mishaps inside the room for staff to consider. Part of the panelling that separated the dining area and living room space was a constant trip hazard, this was extremely dangerous, also ..."
