"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. "We found the cottage lovely, as described. The seaside in this area is a little industrial as it's on the island's east side, but it is only a short walk to a beach. Many small local restaurants were nearby, and we made breakfast daily. We had family down for the day for a wonderful outdoor picnic. I also enjoyed early morning walks behind the property into the onion fields in the foothills. We took a bus from Kobe and rented a car for a few days to explore the island. It was a relaxing...
