"A beautiful hotel with lots of original fittings and features. A film crew were then when we arrived which made it feel quite busy but we were able to check in early and make the most of our stay. Hotel is on quite a busy intersection with traffic and sirens late into the night. Convenient for hop on/hop off bus and walking to main tourist areas. Really friendly and helpful staff, excellent buffet breakfast. Would happily stay there again!"

"The location was splendid in the midst of spectacular architecture, views, history etc, though the sheer volume of tourists and large groups in the area was overwhelming at times. The hotel was quiet and had the basic amenities such as shampoo and coffee (but only those horrid polluting Keurig pod things which everyone does now.) Comfortable, pleasant. But please, please can hotels go back to providing actual information in the room in some easily located binder somewhere? We are paying for...
