"We stayed for one night while travelling to the ferry port. awe chose the Manoir because it was quiet and relaxing. The welcome was very warm and the accomodation gave us a different experience of and overnight stay. The town nearby gave many choices for an evening meal and looked like a nice place to spend a day or part of a day. Would recommend."

"We only stayed one night on our way further south, but really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently situated and beautifully designed, with a large and comfortable seating area downstairs and access to a kitchen. We especially liked the design and ambience of the property and it was quiet and peaceful. The town isn't much to write home about, although has a nice cathedral. "These type of hotels are hit and miss. I’ve stayed in a lot of them. It was ok for a stopover one night if you don’t expect too much. Basically I just want somewhere to sleep.
