"Fantastic old properly but with modern features. Some old hotels show signs of age but the owners of the Eisenhut have made sure that things are clean and new without spoiling the charm of a century’s old building . Brilliant location , very attentive staff. No cons at all with the hotel, but for info don’t follow set nav when Christmas markets are on , all surrounding roads around the hotel are blocked off . "Can’t get any better for a visit to the castles. Right next to the ticket center. All the staff were amazing, food was great, and the room was very nice with huge balcony #17. "

"Very near to train station (but not loud, train is end of the line so not passing through traffic). Staff were very friendly and spoke English. Easy walk to old town area and great views. Bus to the castles picks up right across the street by the train station. Room was spacious and clean. Room stayed comfortably warm in the winter. "

"We were greeted by the staff member who was very sweet and walked us through the lobby and restaurant, as well as the after hours entry just so we could find our way. In addition, it’s a very easy walk to the town center and very convenient. They also provided a treat for my dog which she loved. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return."

"A very nice hotel located only a few minutes walk from the center of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and definitely worth buying or adding on as an option when you book. Parking was easy and spacious. The hotel was very clean (apart from the shower head that had a lot of mineral build up which I cleaned off myself to improve the water pressure in the shower). Located right across the road from a school but we didn't experience any noise problems...

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Glocke. Its a very unique building and tactfully decorated. The room was spacious. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is a huge bonus point. Just a 2 min stroll up the street and you are in the main square area. We repent for not staying for more than one night at the Glocke. "

"Situated just outside the entrance to the old town, the hotel is very conveniently located. The rooms are clean, and overall the location is very quiet. The breakfast buffet was yruly astounding and filled with many delicious options from cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, bacon, etc. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."
