The only positive experience we had at this hotel was with the restaurant and bar. The staff there were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They accommodated my daughter’s food allergies with great care, which we truly appreciated. I would give 5 star rating for them if there is any seperate rating for them.
Unfortunately, the rest of our stay highlighted significant leadership and management issues. If it were possible, I would give the manager a zero rating. For example, we requested laundry pickup, but no one came on the first day despite multiple follow-ups. On the second day, I had to call the front desk and provide an ETA for pickup, even offering to leave the laundry at the desk. Only then did a staff member show up. In simple words; staff don't care about customer request here.
Other issues: room service brought the wrong order after 40 minutes, and the rooms were dusty with inadequate cleaning. Additionally, a New Year’s event blocked restaurant access for hotel customers, with no prior notice. No response when we asked to talk with supervisor.
All these issues point to a lack of hands-on management. It seems the manager is not actively overseeing operations or ensuring a smooth experience across different services. In contrast, I’ve stayed at Hilton hotels where managers are visibly engaged and available for discussion; checking on various departments and ensuring everything runs efficiently. This hotel could benefit greatly from that level of attentiveness.
