"I stayed here for 4 nights and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. The room was basic but served it's purpose. Where the hotel really excelled was with it's abundant French breakfast of Juice,Croissant, jam, butter, bread and hot drinks. More than enough to prepare you for the day. The dinners were amazing. "Very basic as expected, however staff had stayed to check us in when we arrived very late and were extremely nice and helpful. Rooms basic but bed comfortable and clean bedding. All we wanted for an overnight stop."

"The receptionist upon arrival was great. Room rather small with a tiny bathroom, it was hard to get into and close the shower. The breakfast wasn't great value, limited choices for the price. For the price and location near the motorway it was okay overall."

"We can fully recommend Charnay Plaisance! The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. We will return!"
