"The hotel and island were beautiful. Very quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Some of the staff speak English and Spanish. But most only speak Spanish. So if your Spanish is limited you may need to use a translator on your phone. But it is pretty easy to order food and plan activities even if your spanish is limited. It is possible to do almost everything with a credit card or US dollars. But I recommend bringing colombian mil pesos as it will be much easier. The food was amazing....

"This is a lovely island resort that has all of the things you need. It felt safe for children going off to play on their own which was wonderful. The only kiddo thing was there wasn’t a large sandy beach area for playing but lots of the island seems similar in this regard. Some of the food and beverages seem expensive but you can easily wander to another resort and try out their food which are of similar prices. It’s overall a nice place to stay for a few days of heading out for a snorkel and...

"We stayed here for 6 nights, and enjoyed our time here. Although the rooms are a bit dated and worn, we didn’t expect 5 star amenities and it met our needs for the price. The hotel is very well managed, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and the menu is varied enough so that there are always a few things that that you might choose to eat. Also the prices are reasonable for an island hotel. This place does not see the hordes of daytrippers the hotels on the north shore...

"To start… I understand there was a change in management just days before we stayed there, so perhaps they are just getting organized… The hotel is on a beautiful piece of property with two lovely, swimming/soaking beaches and a lovely outside dining area. Loud reggaeton blaring… we finally asked them to switch to salsa but still LOUD and constant.If not your thing this will be an issue… The property is in overall good condition… but some key things lacking. Rooms are huge, sheets/beds comfy....
