"After our pervious week in 2022, we were delighted to return to Eileen's rental house. We were warmly welcomed, and then left to settle in. We appreciated Eileen contacting her "fish man" who came by and we purchased fresh scallops, hake and a fish new to us. We enjoyed the remoteness and the comfort of the house, settling in the big chairs to read and watch the changing views of the bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return."

"There were seven in our group, four adults and three teenagers. The home was very comfortable with plenty of room. It was a good jumping off point for day trips to Galway and Shannon, and lots of sightseeing in between. Sally was a great host, and very quickly responded to a couple of requests we had. "This place was awesome! Loved the dark and moody vibes. Everyone having their own bathroom was quite lovely. The walkability to the main streets was perfect. Space to park cars was very helpful. "This location for a city rental is unbeatable. Easy walking to the main city sites and pubs, local Tesco and other convenience stores, pharmacies and restaurants. "We had a love stay on the outskirts of Oughterard! The property was quiet and remote and very enjoyable! Only thing I would say is we were a little confused on how to access the property at first because the address given stops at the cottages. I would also have liked the property manager to be more responsive, but the local contact was very helpful! Over all, this stay was great and will be incredibly memorable for a long time!"

When we arrived, we were told that Hotels.com customers had to pay for parking, which was only €5, not too bad but a little annoying to be siloed because of where the booking originated.
