We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Sonne. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of the beautiful town. The hotel has parking in a separate but close location. The hotel owners are very nice, and went out of their way to assist us when some of the streets were closed and detoured because of Christmas markets. Beautiful location and nice breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

Our family had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sonne! This charming, quaint hotel is in the perfect location, within easy walking distance to all the nearby historical sites. The warm and welcoming staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel has a small parking lot which made it easy to offload luggages. We’d highly recommend Hotel Sonne for anyone looking to enjoy a cozy time in Rothenburg!

Isabel was very friendly and helpful. She stayed late to help us check in. I’m not sure what we would have done without her. Everyone was super nice here. Great stay in a perfect location. Included breakfast was above and beyond. The bed was comfortable and room was spacious.

This sweet hotel is centrally located in the old town of Rothenburg, close to everything anyone would need. The best part is that it is owned and run by a lovely family (husband, wife & adult daughter), who treated us like family. I would highly recommend staying here!

Very nice hotel right next to the city center. We parked outside the town and walked in about 10 minutes to the hotel. Friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms with a welcome treat and excellent breakfast.

Incredible service and such a lovely, convenient property. My family and I had a memorable experience - possibly the best of our time in Germany. We loved chatting with Isabella and the whole family, and the food was delicious at both breakfast and dinner. Will recommend to any and all people we know going to Rothenburg.

The staff were absolutely amazing and very helpful. Unloading and parking is very bet tricky, call the staff and the will give you the perfect way to go about it. Overall an outstanding hotel and overall a very great experience. I would absolutely go back and stay with Sonne!

Owner run property, great breakfast, super friendly and helpful owners. I highly recommend this hotel and in a perfect location for exploring Rothenburg. Clean rooms, air conditioning and a boutique feel. No elevator although we didn’t care.
