"Very lovely buildings, and the owners were so kind. The only thing to be mindful of is the bathrooms are communal, but cleaned daily. It's a great spot and such a beautiful area!"

"As a short-stop spot, it is acceptable and well-priced for a small one or two-night stay for a couple that gets on well together and doesn't require space. It worked for us for two nights while we caught up with Lake Brennar again before heading for a more prolonged spell in Nelson."

Lovely Little Bush Bach
"A well aged puzzle piece bach, in NZ forest, tucked down a dead end road. Surprising amount of traffic on the road during our stay. Neighbours were quite noisy also but the bach had everything we needed. Hot water for a shower was a bonus. The old Shacklock range is prone to smoking out the bach ..."

"The house was well presented in a good location. Good amenities and space for couples. Two out of the three couples we were with did mention that the beds were quite uncomfortable and it was hard to have a good nights sleep. So it could be worth checking the mattresses. Also it was quite a late check ..."
