A very noisy family group let the children play outside their room in a tiled hallway which was not conducive to restful sleep. "This is a well restored old building with a nice large traditionally furnished room. There is no on site reception and there was only a link to an unhelpful answering service via the provided link. We found the direct number of the helpful owner on the web and key handover was unproblematic after speaking to him. Noise from an adjacent room is heard loudly. The Wifi network worked only intermittently and the absence of local management made it impossible to fix it. These flaws unfortunately...

"We had a lovely 1 night stay with our 2 dogs. This hotel is very dog friendly and we could even bring our pointers with us into their restaurant when we had dinner. The staff was super friendly and the food amazing:) The only little thing I would have liked to have been informed about when booking our room, was that if we wanted to use the jacuzzi (that was the major reason we booked this hotel) we should have booked it so they could have had the chance to fill it with water and heat it up.
