Wine on the river Rhine
This VRBO was in the perfect location for our first leg of our visit to Germany. The location offered easy access to many vineyards and wineries as well as castle visit along the Rhine. The apartment had a wonderful view with easy access. It was spotless and provided all the amenities we needed for our stay. A thank you to our hosts for sharing their apartment with us.

Delightful apartment
My husband and I spent three nights here and loved every minute of it! The apartment was lovely with plenty of room and pretty views of the vineyards and Rhine rivier. The location was very quiet and close to town. The kitchen was wonderful and the beds very comfortable. We loved walking down to town on trails through the vineyards, it was magical! We wished we had booked the apartment for a longer time and we are planning on coming back someday so we can fully enjoy the apartment and area. Edith, the host was very kind and we communicated as best we could. It was fun trying! She was patient with my broken German : ) A very sweet lady! It is a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic place to stay!
A fantastic place to stay! Two beautiful bedrooms, a living and dining area, a great bathroom with large tub and a separate shower, and a very nice, modern, and well-equipped kitchen. The apartment occupies the entire second floor, all areas are spacious and generously furnished. It also affords a great view over the Rhine valley. Ms Schwank is a fantastic host. Linens, towels, and other bathroom and kitchen necessities have been provided, and the beds were all freshly draped upon our arrival. The apartment is located in Windeck, up on the slopes above the old town of Rüdesheim. Having a car is certainly useful as most restaurants, stores, and other businesses are down by the river. The apartment contains books and toys, so our little kids had something new and exciting to play with besides of what we brought along, which was great. As of our stay during July 2017, the apartment did not provide any internet access, but cellular reception was good. Thank you, Ms Schwank, for a wonderful week in Rüdesheim!

Schöne Ferienwohnung in einer Sackgasse. Sehr ruhig und trotzdem zentraler Ausgangspunkt. Wir sind direkt von dort in unsere Wanderungen gestartet, haben kein Auto benötigt. Sehr nette Gastgeberin.

Schöne Fewo in guter Lage
Die Fewo ist komplett ausgestattet. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, auch unsere Hunde waren willkommen. Einziger Mangel ist der fehlende Balkon. In näherer Umgebung ist die Abtei St. Hildegard,man geht durch Weinberge. Altstadt und Rhein auch fußläufig zu erreichen, aber steile Wege.

Weinbergidylle
Die sehr saubere Ferienwohnung befindet sich in in einer schönen etwas abgelegenen (dadurch nicht von Touristen überlaufenen) Gegend. Es gibt einige schöne Wanderwege inkl. des Rheinsteigs. Man kann vieles zu Fuß erreichen (je nach Kondition) und mit dem Auto kommt man schnell zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und keinesfalls aufdringlich. Sie hat die Wohnung, die über Rheinblick verfügt, mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und wir können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank an Frau Schwank für die schöne Woche. Schöne Grüße Familie Klugkist

Hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit und Ausstattung der Wohnung. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt absolut in Ordnung. Im sommer eindrucksvoller, leider hat es nur geregnet. Die Vermieterin wohnt Parterre, ein etwas persönlicherer Empfang wäre wünschenswert gewesen. Am Abreisetag keider nicht anzutreffen.

Tolle Ferienwohnung
Groß, gemütlich und nicht so altbacken, perfekt ausgestattete Küche und toller Rheinblick! In Windeck gibt es erwartungsgemäß keine Infrastruktur ausser dem Klostercafe von Hildegard, aber dafür auch keinen Touristenrummel und -Nepp. Der Rheinsteig läuft ganz nahe vorbei, alles ideal!!
