"My wife got stuck in the bathroom due to a faulty door. It took over an hour of me harassing the hotel staff to get maintenance that was dealing with a broken elevator. "A wonderful space!! We did full board, I would say half board next time.. unless you’re a big eater with 3x meals a day half would be perfect. Space is clean and a great calm area to recover if you go clubbing. Keep in mind a cab into the club area is €50, so factor that into your plan. "

"Lovely hotel in a great location. It has a beautiful pool and new-ish sun loungers. The room was functional. We hired the safe for €3 per day. The maid visited daily and tidied the room well. A relatively minor grumble...the beds were not the most comfortable. Our stay was in late October so the hotel was very, very quiet and many bars, restaurant and shops in Es Cana had already closed or closed while we were in town. If you hire a car don't leave it too late to park up otherwise you may find...

We had a shocking journey over from UK with a flight delayed several hours and huge delay collecting our car hire meaning we didn't arrive until after 1am and with two very tired young children in tow we were struggling to park nearby. The bar beneath the apartments was still open however and the lady checked me in...

"The family room was great for us and would recommend for other families like ours. Is in a great location near the beach and the fairground. The pools are very nice for the kids. The meal times were a little inconvenient for us, dinner started at 7pm by which time our young children are usually in bed! Luckily, there are a lot of great restaurants easily walkable that we utilised nearer the end of our stay. We have been to Es Canar many times and love it, we will be returning."

"Enjoyed the stay for a nice chilled holiday in Es Canar. Stone throw away from beach and good restaurants. It is classed as 2 star hotel but i wouldn't fault it . Very good breakfast in with price. The lunch menu was standard fayre but was lovely and so reasonable. Good standards all round"

"Excellent location and convenient for the beach, bars and bus. Room was ok for one night for us and very spacious. We were in room 6 and no view only a bush/tree. Towels were dirty or stained not sure which really."

"This is a lovely hotel with spacious suites just a very short walk from the beach. The Brisas de Mar restaurant nearby was superb. You can also catch the ferry to other beaches and to the beautiful island of Formentera just a block away from the hotel. The hotel is immaculate, quiet and family friendly. Would stay there again. "Nice property, very clean, lovely food, stunning roof top terrace and great location! However, don’t be mislead with the word Boutique in the hotel name - it isn’t! Some areas have modern touches but much of the hotel is still old fashioned and basic. Also, was rather disappointed that the vast majority of rooms have a window, not a balcony. There was no mention of this or option to book a balcony prior to arrival. In all my years of travel, I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a beach hotel...

"We were a bit sceptical about the hotel after reading reviews about the food and rooms. We stayed six nights and upgraded to all inclusive. It was myself, my 14 year old and my 11 year old. The hotel is located in a small quiet bay where you can walk to restaurants and shops where you can potter about. The all inclusive food had a great selection with plenty of fresh meats, fruits and salads. The snack bar served fresh food throughout the afternoon. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, the hairdryer in the room was faulty when we got there and was quickly replaced. We throughly enjoyed our break. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we can not fault any of them. I would definitely come back."

"We stayed at Cala Llenya resort for a week in August with our 11 yr old daughter. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly at all times, going out of their way to help when neede. The accomodation was quite basic but had everything we needed for the week plus it was cleaned to a high standard daily and included much needed air conditioning. We had breakfast included which consisted of a wide choice of different foods of good quality and the pool bar served great food too. The lovely local beach was about a 10 minute walk from the resort. We hired a car which I would highly recommend if you want to explore the island (definitely worth doing if you can) "
