"Beautiful remote Sardinia, this hotel is set in beautiful, exceptionally kept grounds. Ample parking, a lovely room, beautiful gardens. Staff very welcoming, got by even with little English/Italian. Wish I had been staying for longer than 1 night but this was just a stopover on our way from South Sardinia to the North. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, we went for pizza and it was excellent. Absolute bargain stay, would highly recommend. "

On booking in we were upgraded to a suite (probably to accommodate the many motorcycle and pedal cycle group tours that use the property). "Lovely situation, overlooking the river and with restaurants and shops in the street just behind. Staff were not very friendly - reception was very businesslike and the cleaner complained at 9.10am that we were still in the room and would not be able to come back later to clean the room! Staff at breakfast were very slow to respond to our requests. No parking outside on a busy street, so we had to drop our bags off and look for parking elsewhere, which worked reasonably well. "Had a wonderful time at this beachfront property in Putzu Idu. Perfectly located—just a short walk to the main sandy beach, S'Architteddu, and only a short drive to S'Anea Scoada and Sa Mesa Longa. Quiet, yet close to the local conveniency store and a short walk (on the beach) to the best restaurant in the area. Mario and Francesco are great hosts, always ready to help."

"My son enjoyed our stay in this calm oasis in the middle of nowhere. We actually just stayed put for the two nights and went nowhere. Enjoyed the pool. My son loved playing with the cats. The set dinner included in our stay (a fish and a meat option) was amazing on both evenings and their own wine was very enjoyable. I was disappointed we couldn’t buy any to take home. Would definitely recommend this place and would next time take a trip to the coast as beach is meant to be amazing. "
