As the highest point on the island of Ibiza, Sa Talaia provides spectacular views of the sparkling blue sea, the rolling forests and the historic architecture of San Antonio. Reach its peak, which stands 1,558 feet (475 meters) above sea level, via a scenic path that twists and turns its way up the mountain. Head to the top of the rock formation in your car and enjoy the stunning views that appear before you.
Start driving up the path from the trailhead near San Antonio. The trail is quite steep at the beginning and not safe after heavy rains, when it may be slippery. Pass the red satellite towers and continue on your way, as the road dips downhill for a short stretch. Here, you’ll find the viewing platform, as the lush valley seems to open up and present the village of San Antonio below.

Sa Talaia rises from the terrain enclosing San Antonio on the western side of the island. Drive north from the town of Ibiza for 13 miles (21 kilometers) to get to the trailhead in about 20 minutes.
