"18 of us stayed in this lovely house for a week. We loved having the large garden, especially the outdoor games on offer. The house itself was really nice with a good size lounge, well appointed kitchen and separate dining room. The local village is very quiet and the nearest town has a great bakery and a few supermarkets. If you're visiting the area to boulder, there's one spot only a ten minute drive away (Buthiers Piscine) and many more great options within easy driving distance. The only...

"We were 6 in the property- grandparents, parents and children. The property was furnished to a good standard (all bedrooms are doubles but our boys shared a bed). Kitchen very well stocked. WiFi was set up with plenty of routers but didn’t work while we were there and didn’t get fixed. Pool was heated (a massive bonus) and I would guess about 8x4m in size. Supermarkets 10 mins away by car - all open Sunday mornings."

"Beautiful house - immaculate inside and out. The house is very new and everything has been thought about with no expense spared. Alberic was such a lovely host - he booked dinner for us and provided my daughter with a more suitable sized bike - nothing was too much trouble. The house is set is a lovely quiet village but close to other towns and villages. My children loved the pool, again it was immaculate and heated to a lovely temperature. Thank you Alberic, we would love to return. "

"Nous avons séjourné 3 jours dans le logement de Grégory et son épouse dans le cadre du travail. 14 collaborateurs / 3 jours. Aucun regret ! Le logement est en parfait état, conforme aux photos, et bien plus encore ! Nous sommes restés sous le charme de la demeure, de son terrain et des environs très paisibles. Des tas d'activités sont mises à disposition par les propriétaires (ballons, cages de foot, balançoire, trampoline, table de ping-pong, baby-foot, jeux de société, et bien plus). De quoi...

Das Haus ist ca. 100 Jahre alt und besitzt den Charme eines typischen französischen Landhauses der Zeit nach der Jahrhundertwende, als sich Künstler in die Sommerfrische der Pariser Umgebung begaben und ein solches Objekt für den Sommer mieteten. "Lots of space for the family to explore and relax. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is a wonderful. The gardens are gorgeous! The VRBO app was unreliable but Victoria was accessible by phone. Her Gardner was very helpful and it was nice to have someone on site. The town is quaint with excellent restaurants. Great place for families with children."

Disappointing Stay Despite Good Facilities

"I recently stayed at Résidence Océane for a week for business, and unfortunately, my experience was quite poor. The hotel failed to meet basic expectations in several critical areas. Firstly, there was no fresh bedding linen or towels provided for the entire duration of my stay, so one large towel and 2 small hand towels for a week. This lack of cleanliness and attention to guest comfort is unacceptable. Additionally, there were no cleaners to address these issues or maintain the room's hygiene at anytime through my stay. This was evident even on arrival when I checked the bedding to find small shells of dead insects and pubic hair nicely scattered across the bed! While the facilities themselves were good and well-maintained, the lack of curtains in the room meant that I was greeted by beaming sunshine at 6am every morning, which severely disrupted my sleep. To make matters worse, alarms from nearby buildings went off throughout the night, making it difficult to rest. Overall, the poor service and lack of basic amenities overshadowed the positives of this hotel. I would not recommend Résidence Océane for a comfortable and restful stay."
