"Joel and Cidelia were amazing hosts who treated us like family. Joel built his home and the sky domes from scratch. We had the wonderful opportunity to cook with Cidelia and have dinner with their family. The domes were awesome. It does get a little cold, but they were more than accommodating with blankets. Be prepared to glamp. The location and views were amazing. We enjoyed beer and a beautiful view overlooking the valley on the mini bar near our sky dome. "

"Gustavo‘s place was amazing. This was truly the best Vrbo experience we’ve ever had. The house was even better than shown in the photos, but what makes Gustavo‘s place so special is his commitment to customer service. Gustavo personally welcomed us on our day of arrival by giving us a tour of the house. He also arranged all our excursions as we used Lamay as our base to tour all of the Cusco region. "The house was nice and the picture were for the house but as most time, it looked nicer than it was. Overall the house was clean and the bed and everything was good, but everything was starting to get a bit old. It was winter and it was a bit call the radiators to be use were a bit old and made noise. "We really enjoyed our time at the pyramid. The view was amazing. It’s a bit of a walk down so keep that in mind for anyone with physical limitations. The dinner they cooked as amazing and they even taught us how to make mojitos while dinner was being cooked. Close enough to the train station to walk. "This is a hotel, not a home. You have to haul your luggage up about four flights of stone steps, but the view from the roof is incredible of the town and all the surrounding Inca ruins. "Everything about El Albergue is incredible. Beautiful rooms and outdoor sitting areas, comfy bed, wonderful service. "This was a hidden gem of a resort with a perfect location. Unlike a traditional hotel, this hotel is spread out with beautiful grounds and scenic views in all directions. The architecture and decor is in keeping with the surrounding countryside with clean and well kept rooms. The breakfast was delicious with multiple choices for various dietary preferences. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the train station for quick and easy access to many restaurants and attractions. Exceptional hotel

"I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience at Hotel Samanapaq! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that made me feel right at home. The lush, tranquil gardens surrounding the property were an oasis of serenity—a perfect escape after exploring the magical streets of Ollantaytambo. The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, blending modern comforts with traditional charm. The bed was so comfortable that I slept better than I have in years! The complimentary breakfast was a delightful spread of fresh, local ingredients—each bite a delicious start to the day. The hotel’s location couldn’t be more perfect! It’s just a short walk to the town center, yet it feels tucked away in its own peaceful world. The staff went above and beyond, offering fantastic tips for exploring the area and making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. "What an amazing place! The Stardome is beautiful, both the structure itself and the gorgeous property it is located on. We stayed in the Puma room which had a beautiful view over the valley below, looking straight out at the mountains. The room was cozy and luxurious, with a great bathroom too. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, and had an awesome garden below the window where we could watch exotic hummingbirds. Unfortunately it was cloudy and rainy on the one night that we stayed so we didn’t see any stars, but we did get to listen to the sound of raindrops hitting the dome and saw some cool lightning. The road up is a quite crazy, but our driver handled it well. It is near Ollantaytambo town…about a 25 minute drive or so. Really cool place to stay and worth stopping for a night or two! We stayed on our way to Machu Picchu. "
