Our shower head was covered in black gunk.. most likely mold. The floor was so loud anytime we walked, it creaked and probably disturbed the people below us. The bathroom was not clean, the sink did not drain and the bed was awfully loud.

Very nice, hot continental breakfast. Staff was kind and accommodating. Smell was so strong in the first room that we were not going to be able to stay. Staff reassigned room, which did not have the strong dirty-sock smelling carpet.

In the back by pool door , was broken glass, cigarette buts all over and beer cans. This was at 2 in the afternoon. Not like it wasn’t cleaned up yet because it was early in the morning. Also some kind of fishing tournament, and they were all outside and after quiet time, very loud and rowdy .

Poor climate control before guests arrive— when we entered the room, it was as if they’d had the heat on even though it was 85° outside. The air conditioning unit was blowing cold air, and it was set to 72, but it had to be at least 80° in there. It took about 3 hours for it to cool down enough to be comfortable. The bed was comfortable, but very squeaky at the slightest movement. They gave us only two towels. They allowed guests to play cornhole outside in the parking lot until around 11 pm, which didn’t bother me much because I wasn’t trying to sleep yet, but I imagine many other guests were pretty unhappy about it. Otherwise, this was a nice place to stay one night as we passed through. It was clean, spacious (suite), and had a decent hot typical hotel breakfast. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean.
