"Very private and relaxing stay the Pictures of the terrace do not do it justice and we had fantastic weather and so made the most of the pool which is in the sun all day. We would definitely return again the only thing I would mention is the bedding and mattresses could do with an update. Thanks for your hospitality!"

There's plenty of space in the house and no fewer than 4 patios and seating areas in the very large garden. "This unusual property has been sensitively renovated to preserve a wealth of original features. The light touch gives visitors a chance to glimpse what life might have been like when it was used as a farm house for the chateau. While very close to Cordes, the setting, beside fields and in amongst trees, makes it a very peaceful location. During our stay many bats, stars and a few meteors were seen in the night sky. The pool, with its fence for keeping the deer at bay, was wonderful!"

"You could have a lovely holiday here but keep your party to 6 maximum and don't use the attic room in summer!! The area is beautiful but the garden is surprisingly noisy as there is a lot of traffic through the village The three main bedrooms are super. "We paid for breakfast and it was terrible, as we went into breakfast room it was divided and walking up to table to get some cold hams and orange juice we were told we had to eat in other part of dining area where there was just bread and waffles and drinks. "Stunning property in rural France where we were greeted with a warm welcome by the host and shown to our room which was beautiful, spacious and very tastefully decorated. The property does allow dogs but only in certain rooms so do remember and advise them at the time of booking. Breakfast was laid on in the morning and again our host was very attentive and really helpful. Will most definitely be staying again we drive from the UK to the Costa Blanca."

"Good hotel with very efficient staff, even when unavoidably short of numbers. Make sure you understand the entry at night, as its a bit tricky. Center of Albi is a10/15 minute walk away."
