His reception staff were lovely. One criticism would be that the duvets provided could do with replacement; and , perhaps, the rear doors with a repaint! "What a lovely little property - it had all we needed for our stay in St Malo. Ideally situated for 20 minute walk to the old town, the kitchen was very well equipped, the sofa bed was comfortable to sit on downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs were perfectly adequate and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice surprise to be provided with bedding, towels and soap. The only downside for us - as we are both over 60 was the steep staircase (which was clearly pictured) - but we did get used...

"Great comfortable place to stay inside the walls of Saint Marlo .Close to everything including good eateries just doors away . Very kind and helpful host . I was Ill and she recommended a near by doctor who was fab too . Parking just out side the walls was easy too ."

"One week in a one bedroom apartment at the end of the summer. Apartments were quiet as French children had gone back to school so mainly couples and a few British families staying. Meant pool was quiet most of time with plenty of sunbeds. Twenty minute walk to supermarket, boulangerie and restaurants. Quiet beach opposite. Apartment was well used but clean and ideal for two. Would be a bit crowded with four. Not much storage."

"An amazing place. I read some of the negative reviews prior to booking and given the high standards that we were met with it hard to believe some of the comments. The room was finished to a high standard and was magnificently equipped. It’s right on the beach and the pool facilities looked great although we did not have time to use. We will 100% stay here again. "

The view couldn't be beat except for my window was at the same level as the rampart walls across the street so all the tourists had a perfect view into my room and bed. "It might not be a holiday destination hotel but for an early morning or late evening ferry departure it’s great with a convenient transit location on the main ring road roundabout. Very warm welcome and departure even at anti-social hours and spotless bedroom with comfortable bed. It’s not 5 star, but for the price you couldn’t ask for more."
