Idéal pour visiter les nombreux sites alentours et une maison au confort contemporain pour profiter de la douceur du lieu. Merci à Kathy et François pour leur accueil, les conseils et leur discrétion pendant notre séjour. La Haute Loire nous a séduits et nous ne pouvions guère rêver plus agréable...

"Prestations pas à la hauteur des photos : nombreuses fils électriques apparents, les fenêtres à l'étage ont un garde corps en palettes, la terrasse n'est pas terminée ni sécurisée pour des enfants, l'accès au coin de verdure est condamné et la propriété générale laisse à désirer. C'est très dommage car la maison est très bien placée et serait très agréable dans d'autres conditions. Propriétaire à l'écoute et réactif. "

"Five adult family members and my adult niece stayed comfortably in this amazing architectural masterpiece. The home is as pictured and so much more! It is ideal for large (I would say adult) groups but I would easily return with my husband alone, given its romance. The kitchen has every appliance you can think of from espresso maker to blenders. It's a chef's delight. We were surprised to learn we were staying in a 16th century French hamlet! The hosts greeted us with a fire already burning in...

"We really enjoyed our 2weeks here. The morning sunrises were amazing! Loved having the space to spread out, it is quite a hill to walk up on the way back from town but we got used to it and helped our fitness! The town has so much to see and again we loved being able to see the 3 major icons from our house. Just be aware it has stairs(15 steps to first level and 15 to top level, very squeaky too ha! ) was fine for us but incase u r older or impaired could be an issue."

"I stayed in both the regular and the budget Ibis in Le Puy en Velay. Both were great. For the savings, I would probably stay in the budget Ibis again because it had everything I needed and it was right across from the train station. Both are convenient for touring the town or beginning the Camino."

Beautiful and unique eco-friendly house with stunning views

Stunning French Countryside!

"Five adult family members and my adult niece stayed comfortably in this amazing architectural masterpiece. The home is as pictured and so much more! It is ideal for large (I would say adult) groups but I would easily return with my husband alone, given its romance. The kitchen has every appliance you can think of from espresso maker to blenders. It's a chef's delight. We were surprised to learn we were staying in a 16th century French hamlet! The hosts greeted us with a fire already burning in the fireplace and a bottle of local wine. Michel and Ludovic could not have been more attentive. We stayed here to easily access Yssingeaux (30 min/where our niece is studying). The curvy country roads take a bit to master but we day-tripped to Lyon (2 hours), Le Puy (30 minutes), and even ventured as far as (3.5 hours) Chamonix. It is a quiet place to return at the end of the day. I'm sure I could write a novel in this home--it enjoys views from every single window. In March, the birds were beginning to sing and the flowers and trees were starting to bud. It was warm enough to eat outside during the evenings and watch the sunset, and yet still enjoy the spectacular and modern wood burning fire in the living room every evening. You must walk the hamlet and discover the 500-year old bread-baking houses, the vista of the valley, and the thatched roof stone homes just steps from the expansive yards. I didn't want to leave. Thank you!"
