"Great location for Rochefort. Would have loved to use the outdoor space but sadly the weather didn't allow! Another time!"

"Very nice stay. Neighbours were fab. V helpful but stayed put of the way for privacy too. Was a bit disappointed with bar b q. All decking so probably dangerous to have a proper one. What was there was a small chiminee plus a small electric one, neither great . Otherwise house was very good. V well organised and kitted out. Thank you !!"

Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."

"This hotel is the definition of “you get what you pay for” - reasonably priced in a great location, with an excellent breakfast and very good staff, so what’s missing? Firstly, the hotel has no parking and the streets all around are full of cars looking for a parking space…we spent 40 minutes looking and ended up 15 minutes walk from hotel. Next, WiFi - despite hotel saying it’s available the service doesn’t connect reliably and drops out constantly. Third, the rooms are small - although the bathroom is adequate and there’s a tiny balcony. Fourth, there’s no A/C. So that’s are the downside…the upside is location - the beach is directly across the road in front of the hotel and is a fine sandy beach that shelves gently into the water and is safe for kids. The boat harbour and ferries are a five minute walk with lots of bars and restaurants and the fabulous town market is a ten minute walk and a must-see. There’s also a spectacular walking path that follows the cliff tops north all the way round to the Casino - about three kms so if you lose all your money you can walk back to the hotel. Highly recommended. "
