"Nous avons séjourné 8 jours. L’emplacement est agréable,reposant et pas loin de deux très beaux villages( classé plus beaux de France). L’hôte nous a très bien accueilli,la maison fut très propre et agréable à vivre. Randonées, visite des châteaux, découverte du lot et Garonne. "La région est superbe et nous avons fait beaucoup de marche et de visites. Nous avons apprécié le gîte et l'accueil du propriétaire. "Everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive. The Chateau looks amazing on arrival and even more so in the evening. It has a fabulous pool area and the views over the surround countryside are stunning. Our room was lovely which also had amazing views. There is parking on site and we had breakfast booked which was good. The village is a stones throw and definitely worth going to visit. "

La Taillade: 7 bed country house in idyllic location with pool, hot tub and A/C

Fabulous house for all ages

"We had an amazing stay! We were 3 families with small children (age 7months - 7 years). The bedrooms were spacious enough to allow us to have our own space, whilst also being able to enjoy the many communal spaces inside and outside the property. Everything has been thought of in this luxury house, with plenty of space and everything you could need in the kitchen (an absolute bugbear of mine with rental houses). Instructions were really clear for finding the house and getting in, even in the dark. The house manager nearby was responsive and helped us with a few queries throughout our stay. The pool and hot tub area is fab, and well set up for families of all ages. The depth of the pool meant that it was also suitable for less confident (adult) swimmers to use the whole pool. There is lots of land around the house so we went exploring with the kids a couple of times, picked some damsons from the tree for dinner. Even saw some deer! We went out to a few local towns to explore, all with lots to do and good restaurants. Lots of recommendations from Parul and Andrew in the info book for a variety of different options nearby. A couple of well-stocked supermarkets and bakeries were a short drive away; we had no trouble purchasing the bits we needed for our stay. "

Amazing relaxing week

"We have just had a great week at David’s house. 2 families with late teens and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is massive and has everything you need and more. The bedrooms had very comfy beds and plenty of plug sockets. There is also a huge lounge with extra dining area and TV. The pool was fantastic, we all felt very relaxed by the end of the week. The town is only a 5 min walk away, with a small shop and a couple of restaurants. We ate in Chez Plissy, lovely food and wine. Another bonus for us was the dark sky, we saw more stars than anywhere before and plenty of shooting stars too. Overall a great holiday home with a fantastic host who couldn’t have done more for us. Would definitely recommend."
