This beautiful home is minutes from Parris Island Marine Corp Base, 7 miles from Beaufort Bay Street Waterfront Park & Marina, 12 minutes from Hunting Island Beach, 50 minutes from Hilton Head Island and between Charleston S.C. and Savannah Ga.. Newly furnished and available for rental for the first time in 2020 , this one-story ranch home has an upscale look with high ceilings, wood floors, open floor plan. The floor plan has a large open living room , dining area and eat-in kitchen. Also the entry level is a guest bath and access from the kitchen to the large outdoor deck and barbecue. The kitchen is completely equipped for gourmet cooking and dining. The master bedrooms is private bath that include shower/tub combinations. The bedrooms overlook the private courtyard. The washer/dryer is conveniently located on the in a common area. There is parking for six (6) vehicles located directly outside the gated private courtyard. This unique ranch house is available for your vacationing pleasure, family reunions, Parris Island USMC graduations. . Lastly we are pleased to say we are within walking historical sites such as Penn Center.
We are also centrally located to the following local attractions: downtown Beaufort (7 miles, Hunting Island Public Beach (10 miles/15 minutes); Tanger outlets in Bluffton /Hilton Head (26 miles/40 minutes); downtown Savannah (48 miles/50 minutes); and downtown Charleston. For our local military and their families who may be celebrating graduations, pre-deployment leave or just a routine visit we are 14 miles from Parris Island Marine Corp Base (16 minutes) and 5 miles from the Marine Corps Air Station (16 minutes). The St. Helena House is ideally located on the water just minutes from historic Beaufort, South Carolina and within an hour’s drive of Hilton Head Island and Charleston, South Carolina as well as Savannah, Georgia.
There is a Wal-Mart, Publix located on near by Lady's Island as well as several stores, great restaurants, fast food places, golf courses, boot marina shops just over the bridge.
This fully furnished short-term rental is available for a several weeks or up to two months. This home will sleep up to 14 persons comfortably. Snow Birds are welcome.

Beautiful Property
We rented this beautiful home when our son graduated from Marine Boot Camp, Parris Island, SC. From the dozen roses in a vase from the owner, to the spacious accommodations for our family, the house was just amazing. The house is located 20 minutes from Parris Island and was in a perfect location. The owner even sent back my sister in law’s Kindle which she left in her bedroom. No questions asked, the owner sent it back to us. That’s a great host.

Beautiful Spacious Home in St. Helena Island, South Carolina
Our family of six was in town to celebrate my grandson’s graduation from boot camp at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island. We totally enjoyed this beautiful home only 20 minutes from the base. It was very spacious, clean, well-decorated with several Marine items, and included a large kitchen stocked with everything we needed to help us celebrate our Marine. We were greeted with beautiful roses on the counter by the host, and he quickly responded to my one request. I would highly recommend this house for your stay in the St. Helena/Port Royal/Beaufort area!

We rented this house for our sons Marine graduation. It was so nice and spacious! They left us beautiful red roses also. Everything was super clean. We had about 12 people and it was perfect. Close to a beautiful beach as well. We will definitely be back to rent this house again.

Our vacation stay at this VRBO was exceptional! It's a life experience that we will cherish forever and the host welcomed my family and I with a fresh dozen of roses! The house was clean, had spacious rooms and equipped with everything we needed. We were also surprised by how much space was in the backyard, where we celebrated my aunt's birthday and it was suitable for the kids to run and play. The area itself was incredibly beautiful and I highly recommend renting this home from Mr. Brown. He's professional, communicative and responsive. We will be renting from him again in the near future!

Great home base for family holiday
This was a spacious home that was perfect for two families (4 adults, 5 kids under 15) to stay in over the Thanksgiving holiday. If the weather was warmer, we would have taken advantage of the outside spaces more, but we're comfortable just hanging out at the end of each day. The location is perfectly tucked away but also quick access to Lowcountry Cider (great coffee and pastries), Walmart and Food Lion. In the other direction, we were so lucky to have time to visit Hunting Island State Park.Most of all, the owners were very responsive via text if we needed anything or had questions.

The house was great for our group of 9 ladies. We all enjoyed the extra touches of roses and cookies for our arrival. And everything was clean and open enough for all of us to enjoy our time together. The location is great for outings of shopping, history, and nature. We would definitely recommend.

This property was perfect for our crew while we were visiting Parris Island. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The floor plan is a great layout with plenty of space and bedrooms, a nice living room area with plenty of seating, and a nice spacious kitchen. We also enjoyed the deck and grilling area. I would definitely stay here again.

We came for my daughter's graduation from recruit training at MCRD Parris Island. This location was about 15 minutes from base. Very easy to get to for family day and grad day. Beautiful home with plenty of space. Home has been very well cared for. There was nice music playing on Alexa and fresh flowers in the kitchen. Very nice attention to detail. This property was perfect for my family and extended family (one baby, one teen, 7 adults) who were in town for my son’s Marine Corps graduation. We enjoyed grilling on the rear deck and there were two ice chests we used to bring food and drinks for Family Day. Mr. Brown is a wonderful host. My wife left her Chromebook in the house by accident when we left and he kindly returned it to us by UPS. We spent most of our time on Parris Island, but enjoyed returning to the home in the evening for relaxation.

Beautiful home
The home and location were beautiful. There was a small electrical problem in the kitchen and the owner had that taken care of by the end of the day. There were no where near enough towels for the amount of people allowed to stay there but we were able to do laundry on site. The main problem was that it is advertised as having 4 queen sized beds. There is not even one queen sized bed. They are actually full sized. That was a big problem considering we had 2 adults sleeping in each of those. The main reason we chose this home was because of the bed configuration. I saw someone say the same thing in a recent review but just thought they were mistaken. They were not. Other than that, and not being able to control the thermostat, everything else was good.

I can’t really tell you anything about the property as we never got to stay, but the higher ratings were based solely on my parties quick experience on the property. Received the door code from the property owner late afternoon. My party arrived at the property at 9:45pm there was another family already in the house, in their PJ’s, tucked in for the night. Not the best way to learn the the property had been double booked! Put our party of 12 in a horrible predicament trying to find lodging on a boot camp graduation weekend.

Check in process was super easy. Communication with owner was simple and quick. We had a family of 9 and there was plenty of room, plus some! The house and scenery were beautiful!! The property is close to necessities. We were there for our sons Marine graduation. The travel was simple and not too far. If we ever come back this way we WILL be staying here again!! This is a beautiful home, with plenty of space for multiple people! There are 4.5 baths vs 5 (one is a toilet/sink only), but still ample showers and we ran all 4 at once after the beach without any difficulty. The kitchen is adequately set up such that we were able to prepare meals at home and limit dining out. There was a small electrical issue the second night (loss of power in the great room), but the host had an electrician there the next day by 9A and no further issues after. We were only minutes from several beaches, and an added bonus was coolers we could pack and take with us!! The area has many historical sites, which we didn't have time to delve into. Lots of shopping is available within minutes, and we found many options to entertain kids and adults alike.
