"Very clean comfortable apartment in a wide open space opening out onto the pool. Great seating area on the balcony (Downstairs apartments had a good space outside their units). Apartment was well fitted out. A little far from the village but easy driving and parking. A good location to explore Mont St Michel."

"We are a 4 generation family that stayed 5 days and had the most wonderful time. The house comfortably accommodated 14 of us ranging in age from 2 - 79 years. The views are amazing and there is a large yard with a trampoline and swing set that entertained our younger ones for many hours. The 2 kitchens are well equipped and it is a nice walk to the lovely village. I highly recommend this rental."

"Das Ferienhaus war genau richtig für uns. Es liegt 20 Gehminuten vom nächsten Dorf mit Bäckerei entfernt. Ansonsten Natur pur und nachts ein toller Sternenhimmel. Der Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Er spricht auch englisch. "

"Vieux-Viel ist ein kleiner und sehr ruhiger Ort. Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region ideal (Mont St. Michel, Avranche, St. Malo, Cancale, etc...). "C'est un court séjour de 2 nuits que nous n'oublierons jamais pour la vue incroyable sur le mont Saint Michel. Nous avons pu avoir rien que pour nous la beauté de couchers de soleils en prennant l'apéritif dans la douce véranda. Fantastique ! La maison, rénovée avec goût, alie à la fois charme et praticité. Nous y avons séjourné avec notre enfant de 8 mois, comme chez nous ! Toutes les attentions d'accueil sont là pour que le séjour se passe sans se poser de questions, aucuns manquements....

"The accommodation was nice and had lots of space. You will need to keep windows closed as there are a lot of insects around (it is in the countryside). Coul see Mont St Michel from bathroom window and it is close to the sight. We go confused finding it. A nice local drove his car from his house so we could follow. Overall a nice stay."

"The only negative relating to this stay was the weather, and we don’t hold the VRBO manager responsible for that. And the weather could have been much worse. It was really just a little too cold for those of us from Hawaii. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, braved the cold to walk out to Mont St Michel, and there were people wading in the water to the side of the raised road and walkway. We enjoyed a very nice dinner at the recommended restaurant just across the street in front of our house. The...

"Loved staying here. Only wish that we would of had more time! It's a perfect set-up, especially traveling with kids. We had everything we needed. Samuel was a very good host and full of information. Location was great."

"Le cadre et la maison sont superbes. Nous avons passé 1 agréable séjour en famille. L emplacement pour visiter le montvsaint michel est top. On peut meme y aller en vélo ! Proche de Pontorson, ville agreable egalement. Pleins de choses a visiter aux alentours pour enfants et adultes. Pour les petits enfants : escaliers non securisé (compliqué de le sécuriser vu sa taille) et 1 table basse en verre dont la plaque en verre n est pas fixée a la table."

"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."

"This gite, created in a traditional French stone building, with its own garden to sit out in, is a place to get away from it all. The entrance is up stone steps to a large combined living room and kitchen. Wooden open stairs lead to the bedroom and bathroom. Great place to stay near the Abby.

"Get the river view even off season which we did. You can open your window and hear the soothing sounds. The room was well appointed, modern and clean. The on-site restaurant was pretty good too considering the front desk staff do double duty to cook as well. Service was top notch. Also the surrounding quiet and charming town has street vendors who setup shop for the locals but they spoken English too. It’s nice to be able to see a town that’s not a bunch of souvenir shops every block. We only stayed for a day but it was worth it since we were already weary from our time in Paris. "

"The smallest 5-star hotel in Europe! My friend and I checked in during the off-season for one night. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The owner gave us personalized attention and was very helpful. The location is convenient to Mont Saint Michel: just a five-minute drive to the parking lot to catch the shuttle bus. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to treat yourself."

"We were really impressed with this hotel. We stayed here as a stop over on the way to our return ferry. It was a simple hotel setup as expected and good value for money. Everything was in good condition and very clean. The room had all we needed. Nadège on the front desk was exceptionally helpful and keen to make sure we had a pleasant stay. She offered advice on places to visit and where to eat. She made our stay even better! The area itself was great, especially with two young children. There was a lovely park across the road with a playground and picturesque bridges. We ate at an Italian across the road, Casa Nocciola, which was really tasty and had great service. Would definitely recommend this hotel! "
