Only recommendation would be a better couch for relaxing indoors. Also proper lighting and/or a sign by road with cabin number. "We are frequent VRBO customers. The location was perfect for our purpose, and the home was peaceful with lovely surroundings and large sun-filled rooms. However, it appears to be owned by a company, with no homey touches, and poor management practices. Upon our arrival, there were a couple of issues that needed addressing. For example, the fireplace was not working, the welcome/instruction book was only provided in French and we understood and we understood “important” so we called the Concierge number provided, but no one spoke English and they hung up on us twice. We reached out via “message host” - we received auto-replies pomising to resolve, however, NO help was provided. We used the couch pullout and the carpet needed to be moved, the floors were filthy TV stand, so, we spent the first-hour cleaning and vacuuming. We left the carpet rolled up hopefully a proper cleaning will take place (photos and video were taken to give to the company for their files). Also,the couch bed looks well worn.NOTE: NO shampoo/body wash in showers and NO coffee - bring your own as stores are not convenient if late arrival, like our group. Improve communication, and update the property description indicating NO shampoo, body wash, and coffee are provided so be sure to BRING YOUR OWN (stores are not convenient especially if you arrive late), so, if these slight inconveniences were fixed, we would have no issue recommending this property."

"We went to Quebec, Canada for their German Christmas Festival. The house is about 45 minutes away which isn’t bad at all. The house is very clean, the property manager was super attentive and friendly, and it was the perfect place to stay away from the city. We will stay here again. We highly recommend it. "
