"The property was very private with kind and helpful neighbors. It is cozy but has super windows which give a more open feel. It is located in a pedestrian area so be aware of large luggage. The sleeping quarters are with low ceiling but as I am well over 6 feet tall you get used to that and regardless spend most of the time outdoors in this incredible village. "This is truly a pretty little house and I loved it! The house in essentially in the center of the village - nearby is the market area, shops, places to eat and buy food. The house is narrow- very old - with windy staircases which just add to its character. The hosts were easy to deal with and while we didn't use it, there was a washing machine. We opted to stay overnight in Aups vs Moustiers Sainte Marie which is much more touristy. Everyone was friendly."

What let us down was poor communication on facilities of the site , the fact that campsite on which chalet is has changed names( so difficult to locate) and specifically that reception at site was not aware of our booking. Thankfully we arrived shortly before they closed for the day and we were able to demonstrate we had been in email exchange with owner.worrying what would have happened if we had arrived later!"
