"We were on foot and able to walk to/from the train station through Annecy which took a leisurely 40 mins (for those so inclined - it’s a hill!). The climb was worth it. Beautiful lake view from our window and pleasant concierge staff. We rented e-bikes (40e/each) for a day and road the beautiful 26mile path around the lake. Also easy access to hiking trails above Les Tresomes. Highly recommend! "

"Parking was in adjacent town operated parking lot. Hotel covers overnight parking fee. You are responsible for parking costs during the day if you leave your vehicle in the parking lot during the day say if you spent the day walking in town. Not clear before hand!"

"Good location near train station, easy walk to old town. Mini-kitchen very helpful (esp. microwave fridge). WiFi was very weak (~3.5mps) -- we ended up using tourist data SIM chip on cell instead. Room slightly warm (~24.5C)... not certain if the room has decent AC or not (might simply have been switched off for the season)...could easily open windows with slight but not terrible train noise. Friendly staff."

Unfortunately we received an email the day before arrival informing us there was works going on which meant the car park wasn’t available, which was one of the reasons we booked this particular hotel. There was a car park 200 yards down the road that was cheaper to park in than the one they recommended."

"Don’t listen to the bad reviews. We stayed here thinking this would be one of the lower end hotels visited during our trip to Europe and honestly we liked it as one of the best. Our room was very clean and tidy, smelled fresh, view was nice, area was easy to catch the bus into town, the staff were helpful. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk into the old town but we knew that when booking and the nighttime walks felt unsafe so we took the bus instead. Otherwise would stay here again. "
