"Large rooms and concierge was helpful but; minimal furnishings, hard bed with a blanket placed under a sheet, no Hoyt water in bathroom, which had a hand only shower in the bath and the area around the taps mouldy. Also the hotel was miles away from the nearest restaurants so, as we came on bicycles we had to pay a very expensive taxi each way."

Super-friendly and helpful communication from Ghislain at all stages, including a welcome basket of food and drink and a breakfast package (leave money in the kitchen for that). "Impossible de joindre l’établissement avant mon arrivée, je n’ai donc eu aucune instruction d’arrivée car celle ci était prévu hors horaire d’ouverture de l’accueil. Il est pourtant stipulé que cela est possible. Et qu’il faut contacter un numéro pour avoir les instructions. Je suis tout de même venu mais n’ai jamais eu de chambre ! The bathroom door is made of glass with no privacy which is a little weird, a small curtain would be an easy adition.Bread and viennoiserie for breakfast seemed day old, but having a kitchen with a microwave and toaster helped. The owners had shared they wouldn't be available in the morning for personal reasons it was nice to be able to make more coffee ourselves."

For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night).
