"Vieux-Viel ist ein kleiner und sehr ruhiger Ort. Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region ideal (Mont St. Michel, Avranche, St. Malo, Cancale, etc...). "We have stayed in this apartment before so we knew what to expect. The small patio is a bonus but this time we brought our own chairs as we don’t find those provided very comfortable. The bed is very comfortable but it is very warm up there~ we were glad of the fan. We found the Wi-Fi to be rather inconsistent ( not sure if it was like this before). There is a supermarket 1 minute walk away which is just perfect."

"We are a 4 generation family that stayed 5 days and had the most wonderful time. The house comfortably accommodated 14 of us ranging in age from 2 - 79 years. The views are amazing and there is a large yard with a trampoline and swing set that entertained our younger ones for many hours. The 2 kitchens are well equipped and it is a nice walk to the lovely village. I highly recommend this rental."

"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."

"Historic building made into a charming hotel. I stayed in one of the new, renovated rooms but most of the hotel is an old and cozy building. Staff are bilingual, rooms are clean, and it’s in a good location in town. I hope to stay there again one day!"

"C'est la première fois que je laisse un avis sur Hotels.com, simplement pour signaler que mon séjour s'est très très bien passé. La chambre était certes très petite, mais il n'y manquait rien de ce qui peut faire un séjour confortable, et il n'y avait aucun petit ou gros défaut qui pourrait occuper négativement votre esprit pendant votre séjour. Les plus : très près de la gare, et encore plus du métro. Beaucoup de restos autour pour tous les goûts et budgets, à deux pas des Champs Libres et à trois pas du Colombier. Salle de bain très très pratique et confortable. Réception serviable, pas mesquine, ouverte 24/7 (et avec des bonbons...). Bagagerie. Bref, très bon rapport qualité-prix. Les moins : honnêtement rien pour ma part, à part la taille de la chambre, mais pour moi c'était en fait suffisant pour une nuit."
