"The property is located in the historic district of nogent le retroux. It is a beautiful town. However, there is room for improvment. The bathub on 2nd floor did not work. There was only 1 towel per bathroom. We had to pay extra E30 to get sheets and make our own beds."

"This lovely property is off the beaten path just outside of the small town of Mauves-sur-Huisne. The house is as it looks and has ample space for 12 people. The owners are absolutely lovely and on hand to answer any questions and recommend local excursions. Lovely Belleme is just a 15 minute drive away for shopping and strolling. "The reception staff were very helpful. We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. The cups were not changed and the floor was not cleaned (we stayed for 4 nights. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very poor value for €9. We were happy with the location because we enjoy walking so walked into the town to eat- the walk around the lake would be lovely in the daylight!"
