"It was our 1st time in Aix-en-Provence, and we didn't know what to expect regarding the city and moving around. We searched for a clean place with a kitchenette and parking facilities, so we could drive to different places. This hotel is not centric to the city, as it would take about 10-15 minutes driving by some backroads to get to the center of Aix and then finding a parking garage nearby. Rooms are kind of small. There is not an elevator, so the luggage has to be lifted through the stairs....

While it was further out of town that we originally thought, it was a beautiful walk in (around 45 mins), and a very easy drive to the port area of Cassis, and most importantly, to the national park for the Calanques. "My partner and I enjoyed our stay in Pontevès. The village is very small but provided you have a car (which is a must!), you can get to everything very quickly. The area has many activities to offer and even +7 days was not enough time for us! Josette and Patrick were lovely.
