"Great location by the river, cafes, cathedral and 33km cycle route. The hotel was shabby in the hallway with bags of dirty linen left all day and overnight. The lifts strongly smelt of cheap deodorant. But, once in the room it was like a different hotel. Light, spacious, great view of the cathedral and river. Excellent kitchenette which is a bonus, nice bathroom and lots of little reminders to be eco friendly. We'd highly recommend if you're happy to walk through the neglected entrance and...

"We stayed here for a couple of nights to break up a long drive back to northern England from Burgundy. We left wishing we had longer as the area is beautiful, clean, quiet and the same could be said for the accomodation. The hosts were very welcoming and despite the language barrier due to our poor French, they gave us some great recommendations for our stay. "The property was very nice and the response from the property manager was excellent. For us the location was very good, check in was easy and the only slight issue for us was one of the pans was unclean from I presume a previous customer, the sofa cover could also do with a clean though we had a sheet covering if due to us having our dog with us. Overall the property was lovely and we enjoyed our stay."

"We had a lovely holiday at Maison de Bonheur. The facilities were excellent. Lots for children and adults alike. There was a shed full of different types of outdoor games. We particularly liked the boules. The pool was lovely and we had great weather so made full use of it. The accommodation was good too. Lovely authentic bedrooms with plenty of space. "We had such a relaxing stay. The maisonette is so cute, and the nice area around it almost "forces" you to take it very easy and slow. We totally not felt guilty we only did a few trips in the larger Somme area and stayed outside the little house reading and enjoying the quietness and the animals walking by. "Quaint little wooden gite in a peaceful village rural location. Great location for visiting WW1 memorials around The Somme region. Amiens is a beautiful city about 25 minutes away. We used as a base to visit Lille and Paris for the Olympic’s and both were about an hour and a half drive away. The host was constantly in touch for arrival and made us feel very welcome. "
