We stopped at the hotel the night before we caught the ferry home from Roscoff. The location was convenient only 15 mins from the port. We booked parking €12 and we were met at the gate by a member of staff and directed to park. The chap on reception was lovely, friendly and helpful and he told us where would be good in town for dinner. The room was small and the bathroom tiny, quite tricky to use the shower over the bath and the toilet ran on all night. We left early without being able to really see a member of staff so can't comment on breakfast. The hotel was charming and clean and we would stay again and recommend

Excellent stay

Very enjoyable stay in superbly furnished hotel. Sam and Jerome were excellent hosts and the breakfast was superb. Good location for touring the area. Having on site parking was a bonus.

A very comfortable and convenient hotel, especially when using the Roscoff ferry port whichbis 10 minutes away. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated and the owners are charming and professional.

We use this hotel as a stop over when we use the ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff. This is the second time we have stayed here and it is an ideal overnight stay. It is only a short drive from the terminal, parking is available (best to book in advance to guarantee a space and there is a charge), rooms are nice albeit on the small size and the breakfast option is nice. Very short walk to the centre of Saint-Pol-de-Leon with restaurants and bars.

Great overnighter

Great location for night before early morning ferry. St Pol de Leon has a decent choice of bars and restaurants and Hotel de France is as nice as it looks in the photos run by a very pleasant and helpful couple.

Superb hotel in the centre of the town but very quiet with fantastic garden to sit in and enjoy a cold drink or a hot one. Neat and tidy rooms breakfast was lovely because of the superb weather we ate out on the terrace overlooking the garden.

Friendly welcome able to have a drink from the bar on arrival good room missed air conditioning but it was unusually hot Breakfast too late we felt for a ferry crossing early morning but understandable Hope to go back and stay longer the garden was a delight. Stayed for one night after arriving in France on the Plymouth to Roscoff ferry. Ideally located hotel just a few minutes drive from the port. Small but clean and comfortable room. Hotel has parking (for a small fee), is on a quiet side street a short walk from bars and restaurants. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definately use this hotel again.

We had a brilliant one night stay here before our ferry to Roscoff. The hotel has some limited parking which we were able to book in advance, and was handy knowing we had a space secure before turning up - however there is also some limited parking on road outside the hotel and plenty of car parks a short walk away. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant upon arrival. Our room was clean and very spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bedding smelt lovely and all of the party had a good nights sleep. In the room there was a handwritten booklet including things to do in the area, WiFi code, and local restaurants which was useful. The WiFi was quite slow but passable for basics. The hotel feels safe and secure and is very quiet, no road noise. It is a short walk away from the town and restaurants - however going in April on a Tuesday night there were a lot of restaurants closed so food options were limited, the hotel does not have a restaurant but does provide breakfast. Overall our stay was fantastic and would not hesitate to stay here again next time we get the ferry.

Zeer prettig hotel. Heel aardig personeel die goed engels preken. Er is parkeergelegenheid op eigen terrein. Een gemoedelijk hotel voor zowel vakantie als zakelijke klanten. Gezellige ontbijtzaal met een goed buffet. (Hun eierkookapparaat was mijn favoriet) Er is een firnessruimte en sinds deze week ook een finse sauna. Ze verhuren ook elektrische fietsen. Mooie ommuurde tuin met een terras en ruimte om te zonnen. Een aantal kamers hebben in expedia zeezicht staan en dat klopt ook. Al met al vinden wij dat dit hotel 4 sterren waard is.
