The main house is very well appointed and recently renovated with a huge TV, pool table, lovely cooker and the bedrooms were very large and beautifully appointed. "Very luxurious stay. Incredible room - beautiful finishings and a view overlooking the lovely courtyard. The setting is lovely with a vineyard on site with a terrace. The staff were really friendly. The restaurant in Bages was a 5 minute walk and was lovely also although unless you have a car (or arrange a taxi which can be quite expensive we foune) there are not so many options around other than that but the hotel itself is nice enough to want to stay! "

"7 friends stayed at the chateau for the marathon du medoc. The property is very large and beautiful. Quiet and tranquil. The main house is very well appointed and recently renovated with a huge TV, pool table, lovely cooker and the bedrooms were very large and beautifully appointed. The pool was awesome, and not too cold in September. We were able to cook comfortably for 7 people with good cooking equipment. Highly recommend"

A nice hotel in Margaux

"We had a great time at Hotel de Margaux. We stayed in the Suite Vénitienne which is a large apartment in a little chateau close to the hotel with a view on a nice pool and a vineyard. The host was very nice. Too bad that their restaurant was closed and we had to go outside for dinner."
