"Lovely clean property in a gorgeous location in Salcombe. All the staff were friendly and our room had a partial view of the estuary which was lovely. The parking is a bit off putting as it’s on a steep slope and limited but the staff do take care of that when you arrive and can park your car for you. I had to ask for our beds to be twinned on 3 different occasions. Not the end of the world we still had a lovely stay. Loved the spa facilities which were lovely and clean. The dinner in the Jetty was also lovely. Can’t fault the staff they were all polite and decent. I would recommend a stay here, it’s in a gorgeous part of the world, you can’t beat the Cornish coast!"

"A friendly greeting and offer of help with our luggage was a great start. This is a modern hotel with superb views over the Salcombe Estuary. The room was very comfortable with all as you would expect. Mini bar, tea making, coffee pod machine etc Complimentary Salcombe gin and tonic on arrival plus ice delivered each night was great. The staff were excellent and helpful. A great Spa and pool. High standards set by friendly staff"

"The stay was fantastic. Just one issue was the lack of response from the emergancey contact number on the hotels.com confirmation email.....when we could not get in the property, and the key was not in the key safe!.....still waiting for an answer to our call & text.....very poor. We managed to find the key, and text the owners, who replied promptly and were lovely."

"On first arrival the cottage was lovely; a bit quirky but looked as if it would meet our needs. However, considering the cottage slept quite at least 8 adults there wasn’t enough seating in the TV room to accommodate that many. The TV did not have BBC channels so we couldn’t watch Strictly on the Saturday! A smart TV would be better as many people have subscriptions to streaming services. Also the TV in the big bedroom but want connect by aerial; there was an aerial but it was too short to reach the TV! There were no mirrors in the bedrooms so we didn’t have anything to do make up or dry hair! The mirror in the shower room upstairs didn’t work and the towel rail was cold! We found the switch on our last day! "
