"Excellent communication beforehand. Arranged meal on first night which was excellent. Owners very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The house was so clean, the two bathrooms were a godsend so no hanging about waiting for them to become vacant. Lovely sitting area outside even though it was a bit chilly in the evenings. Local area is full of lovely places to visit."

The property was in a beautiful location and lacked nothing in terms of kitchen equipment, bedding etc. and the pool was an absolute delight. "We were greeted very warmly by Philippe and his wife, and they offered us coffee when we arrived. We were then shown around the accommodation and given details of the surrounding area and attractions. The accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was perfect for our break and in a very quiet area, but easy to find. Nothing was too much trouble for Philippe during our stay which we enjoyed immensely. We hope to return next year, and would definitely stay here again. "

"The property was gorgeous, clean and the pool was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely family holiday. Just a couple of points to note. The beds were very very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. Firm beds are not for us. The listing said hot tub. We hadn’t seen one in the pictures so guessed it was a mis-print, but to confirm there is no hot-tub despite it being listed. The WiFi did not work at all. We called the host who was very good and came straight away but...

"This is a lovely house in a beautiful rural setting. Our only recommendation to the property owners would be to update the bedding, specifically in the primary bedroom upstairs. The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Also, the description suggests it is a 4 minute walk to the National History Museum and 13 minute walk to the Les Eyzies train station. Unless there is a path through the woods that we did not find, the road to town is unwalkable and dangerous."
