Hotel manager was really nice, very dog friendly. Food was ok. Hotel was not expensive. Wasn't bad but i don't think I'd stay here again "

"What an excellent find. Warm and welcoming it was just what I needed. The staff were very helpful the breakfast was all you could ask for and the shower was hot. "The communal areas are delightful...wood panelled rooms, squashy sofas and a huge open fire. The room was small but was advertised as such and was fine for just the 1 night. Very comfortable bed with lovely white crisp linen. The welcome brownies were also lovely. The room was only lit by lamps, so the lighting was very low that meant I was unable to read in the room. Breakfast was good. The customer service was efficient but lacked warmth...the bar staff/ waiters were fine but didn't smile or...
