8.2/10 Very Good! (442 reviews)
Let me start by saying, the staff is very accommodating. My first room was clean, but the furniture was very worn. Water marks, stained and the chair next to the elevator was so worn I would not recommend it for a donation. The shower, sheets, and towels were clean but the hotel’s decor and furniture needs to be thrown out, the hotel is in dire need of renovation. The staff is the only reason my stay in Rome was passable. The breakfast buffet was certainly a breath of fresh air and very enjoyable including the decor and presentation. The location is ideal visiting nearby shopping and sightseeing. I would like to be fair in my review but would not recommend The B Place its is current state. There is such a potential for a lovey hotel but immediate attention is required, fresh paint and decor would be a start.

Excellent hotel. Walkable or short ride from most attractions but yet quiet. Great service and amazing breakfast. Great concierge help.

The property is unique, a modern twist on historic Rome.
The location is fantastic, walking distance to the old city, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon...
Navigating the hotel from front desk to room can be a maze between old hotel and new.
Hallways are painted dark
Front desk has modern statuary in mirrored alcoves.
Elevators in New portion have color changing LEDs
Reception has bright pink neon over the desks that are modelled on chariots with tiny go cart wheels
Staff was super friendly and helpful.

"Overall a good property. Decent location close to restaurants and not too far a walk into the city centre. Around a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest metro station. No front desk so contact was via WhatsApp and the staff member I spoke with responded very quickly when I asked for the check-in instructions. ..."
