"This is not a villa. It’s a basement suite. We expected it to be associated with the Four Seasons hotel chain; it is not. It’s a basement of a private home in a residential neighbourhood. The view is real. The beds are comfortable. The lights in the kitchen also turn on the lights in the master bedroom, so when one of our party got up at 1am, they woke me up by turning the lights on in my bedroom. "My husband and I stayed for one night while visiting Powell River. We had our dog with us. The room is clean, the location is close to restaurants / shops. The staff is friendly. We got a pet friendly room and the pet fee is very reasonable, extra $15 which is lower than most places !! It's a 5 min walk from the ferry terminal too which is a plus ! You can also take a nice beach walk since it's close to Willingdon beach. "

"Tent rooms were amazing. However, you have a 5 minute walk along the boardwalk to get to the tents. Having some handcarts and/or someone to help carry one's luggage would have been helpful. Also, there was no ice maker that I could find to use the ice bucket provided. That being said, the views were spectacular and the resort as a whole was fantastic. On a side note, the TuBrd restaurant that is at the main building is spectacular beyond words. I have had the best meals in at least a decade...
