Loved my room, the location and the staff! I loved the size of the hotel and their recommendation to eat at Casa de Tereza! Ate there twice! I had a great massage experience (book a day in advance) and the breakfast that’s included was delicious! It’s a quick walk to the beach!

Great and lovely helpful people. Main problem is the building next door. Almost no room with sea view. Noise and dust from the works can be annoying during the day. great breakfast. Hotel should not advertise sea view any longer.

The front desk and kitchen staff are super friendly and helpful. I travel a lot and work remotely and the number one thing that matters to me is decent WiFi - and they didn’t have WiFi working properly in my room at all. They offered where I could have a better signal in their lounge are, but I paid to be in the privacy of my room and I work late at night. And the signal was not any better at the lounge either. I ended up leaving a night before my checkout and made reservations elsewhere just so I could work while enjoying my trip. No refund for not having WiFi working in my room was granted after my request o I realized it was my lost and left peacefully without getting into a debate with anybody. There are not nearby places to walk around to because the hotel is so far up a hill that you would need an Uber to go to the Main Street. The bed working staff there are super but don’t expect to have WiFi if you decide to stay at this hotel.

Very lovely facility, feels like 1950s style Cuban architecture, with a great breakfast included in the stay, and a very friendly accommodating staff. Highly recommend, also just a walk to the beach and town square. Loved it!

Carnival week in Salvador

The hotel was in a very average neighborhood, and the pictures were definitely deceiving. The hotel is old and worn out, and it does NOT fulfill even remotely the criteria for a 5 star hotel. The hotel staff and the manager were very responsive and upgraded us to the best room in the hotel that was allegedly recently renovated However, the windows were old and very poorly designed, and allowed for all sorts of noise, including loud music and construction noise coming from right outside the room and started at 7 am! On top of that, it started raining heavily and rain was pouring inside the room through ALL 3 windows! The internet was very slow and barely functional. The food was average and not available throughout the day (as in other 5 star hotels), but the breakfast server was VERY sweet and took really good care of us. I do not think I would return to this hotel in the future. The cost of stay, hotel quality and overall experience do not justify another reservation.

Bem ao lado (colado mesmo) do hotel há um prédio em construção, isso não foi informado, e as fotos tb não foram atualizadas. Essa obra obstruiu parte de vista e tornou absolutamente inviável a utilização da piscina, por causa da total ausência de privacidade, além de provocar muito barulho a partir das 8h da manhã, impossível dormir nesse horário, nos dias úteis. Estivemos de um sábado à tarde até uma quarta pela manhã, só podemos utilizar a piscina no sábado e no domingo. Além da questão do barulho e da proximidade com a obra, o hotel não parece ter uma política de silêncio para suas instalações, ouve-se o tempo inteiro pessoas falando muito alto, hóspedes e funcionários, além do arrastar descuidado de móveis e carrinhos de limpeza. Claramente não há uma preocupação em solicitar a todos um comportamento mais silencioso e educado, que valorize o silêncio e o descanso. A equipe é gentil e solícita e o café da manhã é servido até às 11h e a la carte, o que sem dúvida é um ponto positivo. Os quartos e a decoração das áreas comuns são bonitas e confortáveis, embora a área da piscina já reclame uma renovação. Mas além do problema do barulho, há falhas na limpeza, o trilho da porta de vidro do box do banheiro do nosso quarto estava muito sujo, as partes de vidro dos quartos e da áreas comuns estavam embaçadas, manchadas e com marcas de mãos (especialmente as da parede que separa o restaurante da área externa que leva aos quartos do térreo).Em razão do preço da diária, não compensa.

Hôtel très agréable et particulièrement bien situé. Les chambres sont agréables, le petit déjeuner est varié et complet et notre coup de cœur : le personnel est absolument charmant! 3 petits bémols : le bâtiment dans lequel se situent les chambres date un peu, la piscine est vraiment très petite (plutôt un point d'eau qu'une piscine, mais vous avez la plage juste à côté) et la construction d'un nouveau bâtiment juste à côté fait que la belle vue sur la mer est un peu obstruée. Mais globalement, une très bonne expérience!

O hotel é muito bem localizado, embora haja uma obra ao lado que inviabiliza a estadia durante o dia. Felizmente, à noite não há barulho e o descanso é tranquilo. As camas são extremamente confortáveis e os móveis têm um estilo bonito, com atmosfera de pousada boutique. O atendimento é excelente, assim como a simpatia dos funcionários. A limpeza, entretanto, deixou a desejar: havia bastante poeira no quarto, especialmente embaixo da cama, e os boxes do banheiro precisariam de maior atenção, tanto na higienização quanto na manutenção do fluxo da água. O café da manhã foi o ponto mais fraco da experiência, extremamente abaixo do esperado. Outro detalhe é o uso do nome “Toque”, que pode induzir comparação com outro padrão da pousada e, na prática, trata-se de algo diferente. Apesar dessas observações, acredito que seja a melhor opção da região e voltaria a me hospedar. Torço para que melhorem e não desistam do lugar, como eu achei, pois o potencial é enorme.
