"Location was horrible. A long way from everything. Road to beach was a mud puddle (although it was rainy season). Very long way from town 3-4 km’s. "

"Keeping in mind this is rural Costa Rica the whole experience was very good. The senior property manager was exceptional and food was great. Only draw back it is a bit out of town. But their food is better. "

"The property area is beautifully designed with tress and bushes. There are two swimming pools that are very clean. The staff were very helpful and responsive when we reported small things that we needed in our villa"

"Samara Pacific Lodge is a hidden gem for our Samara adventure! The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach for some surfing in the mornings, then head into town for delicious local eats in the afternoons. In the evenings, the pool area was a lifesaver! Nice and refreshing, with plenty of comfy loungers to catch some rays and unwind. The staff here were incredible. Kenneth and Allen were so friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond with a smile. And breakfast every morning...

"The property is located a 2 minute walk from the beach. Conveniently located to walk to restaurants and shops. None of the power outlets were working in our first room. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and immediately accommodated us in the room next door. This is an older hotel with very basic necessities. Overall hotel grounds need maintenance. Especially the pool area. The grass was overgrown underneath the lounge chairs. Personally, it wasn’t for us. Booked a two night stay and ended...
