"Hotel is a little out of the city (~20 minutes walk) and the hotel is designed to cater for business travellers. However, it still makes a good base for tourists visiting Samarkand. The room was clean and modern, bathroom was really nice but the WiFi was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was buffet style and was fine. The staff on the front desk were helpful and gave really good recommendations on where to eat nearby. I did have some issues as when I arrived the hotel didn't seem to have a record...

"The hotel is nice and at first sight service was good. However, after I'd checked in, staff first tried to force me to take a second room at extra cost and then cancelled my booking before calling the immigration police.
