"This is a beautiful little gem of an apartment at the top of an ancient hill town. The apartment is well equipped, beds are comfortable but our favourite part was the terrace overlooking the village. We enjoyed our stay despite it being a bit remote."

"We very much enjoyed the quiet solitude of this magical spot perched up high on the mountain side. It was delightful to spend our days exploring the busy Ligurian coast and return to the peace and beauty of the mountains. The local restaurant was great and only a 5 minute drive away. The host, Silvanna, was gracious and easy to communicate with. The property was clean and well supplied. "Wir haben uns schon beim freundlichen Empfang sehr wohl gefühlt. Obwohl wir spät angekommen sind, lief alles bestens. Und dann gab es zum Empfang auch noch ein Fest im Dorf ;-) Die Wohnung ist sehr groß! Drei Schlafzimmer bieten viel Platz, eine große Wohnküche (in der ein paar Dinge fehlen, z.B. ein Toaster und ein paar scharfe Messer), ein Wohnzimmer und ein langer Balkon. Alles nicht modern, aber zweckmäßig, sauber und bequem. Wir haben uns alle (7) sehr wohl gefühlt."

"We had a lovely stay and met some very nice people staying in the other apartments of the villa. The villa is comfortable and even without air-conditioning remains cool enough with the windows open. "Our stay here could not have been more enjoyable. Renato and Laura were discrete and excellent hosts and Maimonrose was spacious and cool inside. The local village has an excellent supermarket, and the Cinque Terre coast, Lucca and Torre del Lago were all within easy reach. I hope to stay there again in the future."

"I proprietari della casa a Ziona sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. La zona è molto bella e tranquilla e tattica per raggiungere le 5 terre. La pulizia di lenzuola e sanitari era fatta bene ma pavimenti e vetri erano molto polverosi o sporchi. Sconsigliato per persone con problemi alle gambe o alle ginocchia perchè le scale sono molto ripide."

"Not suitable for under 5's as many stairways and open banisters. Well supplied linen but rooms could have been cleaner. The electrical appliances supplied were not always compatible with the sockets. Many light bulbs not working. Many window mosquito nets missing or broken.
