"The home and stay was really lovely. We had an amazing time in Samoens with our young family. The home was generally clean, had comfortable beds, a great hot tub, and a lovely view. However, the basement smelled musty, the clothes washer was moldy, and they have decided that garbage bags, toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, and soap for the bathrooms, count as groceries so these products weren’t provided and we had to buy our own. This was incredibly inconvenient and felt like they were pinching pennies after we spent thousands to stay for the week. Not one other rental property we’ve stayed at in France has not provided these necessities. They also threatened to not give us the keys after I didn’t respond to an email for 1 day. Again, the home is nice, there is just a break down in hospitality. "

"The photos for this property need updating. It does not overlook a green hill, it overlooks a large abandoned building site, directly below the chalet. The property is very tired, the beds, particularly the metal bunk beds, made so much noise we could only have people sleeping on the bottom bunks. The house itself is extremely noisy/creaky and you can hear EVERY movement, throughout the house at all times, especially at night. The wifi signal is extremely weak/does not work and there is very limited phone signal, meaning any work had to be done from the middle of town, not from the property. It was not possible to stream anything, even music. Only one source of hot water can be used at a time, i.e. you can’t have two showers running. On the plus side, the location was good, walking distance from the town centre and the swimming lake and there were amazing views up and down the valley."

"Lovely homely chalet. Great to have the pool too. Short walk to shops and restaurants in Morillon and the area full of activities. We all had a great time"

"A lovely apartment with lots of space which acted as a brilliant base to explore the local area. So much to do for all the family and close enough to the bakery we could send the older kids out to get breakfast!"

The attention to detail was spot on, and they even realised it was my birthday during the stay and left a birthday message and small selection of local produce in the room which was a lovely touch and surprise. Thank you so much for a brilliant few nights. "

"The hotel was apologetic as our check in was delayed and left us a local food and wine basket as a thank you for understanding. Everyone was polite and friendly and always happy to help. A lovely place to take the family and explore the local area."
