Very nice, walking distance from the River Walk. Just be aware there is no parking available, only vale parking. We parked 1 and a half blocks away which was not bad.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous from the moment I walked in. It had an inviting signature smell that you can actually purchase a candle or diffuser to take home.Everything was very clean and the lighting and candles gave a romantic feel. My husband and I will absolutely stay here again!

The hotel itself is charming and is very well maintained. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The property is in an excellent location - right on the riverwalk. However, the shower drain was clogged and the ice machine on the floor was out of order, This was the only reason why I did not give it a perfect 5 rating. Will that stop me from staying in this hotel when I come back? Absolutely not! I love everything else about it.

We enjoyed the easy access to the river walk, downtown, and shops. We loved the hotel branding on everything. The bed was very comfortable, the view was nice, and the staff was very polite and helpful. The entry way looks great, and the courtyard sitting area was awesome with the fountain and fire.

The Valencia is a nice hotel. We enjoyed the valet. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was with in walking distance. The room itself has some broken parts to the wooden blinds, and someone's socks on the floor next to the bed when we got there. The staff all seemed pretty nice. I am guessing that they usually give you a margarita or something when you check in but, we were told they were out of glasses when we got there, and we could come back later for it if we wanted. Once we got to the room we got a text asking about the room. We didn't notice the broken binds or random socks until after. The hotel was nice though. Aside from the bed and valet, it wasn't anything too special.

I was not offered options for rooms at check-in despite availability and having a member status that allowed for this in principle. I know this because my room had a weird smell from the chemical they use in the bathrooms and I had to be moved to another unit that was available despite not being offered this option at check-in, even with the valuable member status from Expedia. There is also a weird charge of $18 that is returned if something is consumed in the hotel which is just a way to make you buy something overpriced from the hotel kitchen restaurant. The hotel is still nice and conveniently located but I will try other options next time.
