Really enjoyed our stay. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was a needed respite while helping a family member recovering from surgery. Property managers responded quickly. I would highly recommend if visiting San Antonio. It was lovely.
We’re house hunting in the area and needed a place to stay that allowed dogs. This little place gave us a home base to go back to to recharge before the round. We’d stay here again if needed.
I was taking my 4 year old to Sea World and Fiesta Texas on a short trip over spring break. I could not have been happier with the location, about 3 miles from Fiesta Texas, and 10 miles to Sea World. The neighborhood was very nice and communication with the host was great.
I booked this location for a week that I was in San Antionio for work. I enjoyed going back to my quiet and cool place after a hard day at work. It was a very nice place. The kitchen allowed me to eat most of my evening meals there.
The bed was comfortable and the A/C above the bed kept me cool during Texas heat wave.
I will try to stay here again if work brings me back to San Antionio.
I loved stayed here it was perfect the bed was so comfortable and it was so cold it felt amazing but there was little things that i didn't care for. The washer it wasn't set up all the way and when i turned it on and walked to the kitchen water went everywhere because the hose was just hanging on the back washer, there are bricks that are along the pathway i almost fell on them its kinda hard to see them when i was holding a baby and there right there when you open/close the gate.

Decieving
The “front” of the place from the street looks like a garage. Passed it up twice! The front door faces a back fence. The walkway was dangerous as it was several levels of bricks. There was no comfortable never heard of that song way to watch tv. It was positioned between bed and couch so wherever you sat, you had to tilt your neck to watch it. There was a smell of sulpher coming from the washer. Coffee pot had moldy coffee filter in it. There was a large wasp nest at the front door area. The bed was very comfortable and a good size but undoubtedly I do not for for see us trying there again.
This is a good option for a short 1-2 day stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything longer. The private backyard was a great feature, especially for my dog. However, parking is on the street since the designated parking spot is reserved for the front house. It didn’t seem like the property had a heater, and during our stay, it got pretty cold, so we had to rely on extra blankets we brought. I reached out to the owner about this, but they didn’t respond, likely because it was my last day.Be sure to bring your own essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and possibly even towels. Upon arrival, the owner mentioned there was no dryer, which wasn’t an issue for me since I didn’t plan to do laundry. However, I noticed linens hanging to dry in the closet, and only two towels were actually dry. When I messaged the owner about this, they responded quickly and sent someone over with clean linens and towels.Overall, the place provides only the basics, so make sure to pack everything you might need.
The property was tiny, but perfect for my needs. The neighborhood was nice and felt completely safe for a woman traveling alone. My host responded promptly and kindly with any requests I had. It was a very pleasant stay.
Location of this little retreat is in a very nice neighborhood and the space suited our needs for the 4 days we were in town, I would definitely come back and stay again!
