Young woman working front desk during day from Wed - Sun. was very personable with good customer service. Only disappointment was discovering that the pool area was closed for construction/renovation. At first I thought that I had arrived in error at an earlier hotel booked that had notified me that their pool & hot tub area would be undergoing renovations during my stay -- prompting me to cancel that reservation and book my stay at the Comfort Inn per reports that its pool was heated in the winter time. Unfortunately, the Comfort Inn was also undergoing renovations but its staff graciously handled my disappointment -- although in the future I hope that they notify guests of pending renovations like the other hotel had done.

Staff are really friendly and welcoming, close to everything I needed. Stayed at the beginning and the end of my cruise stay. Breakfast was good hot and cold items to choose from. It was really busy there birh times I stayed. I would book this place again.

There’s nothing terribly wrong with this property but also nothing amazing. The front of the hotel faces the 5 freeway and I passed by the drive way the first time because of the street parking. Check in was fine and efficient. $100 incidental hold and $20 parking so $120 due at check in. Which wouldn’t be bad if there was something to incidentally charge. The room was poorly light. With only one small table lamp next to the bed that had a thick shade leaving very little light. The tv did not work. The carpets are worn and clearly when they touched the hotel last they skipped the carpets. Bathroom was clean but tub ceramic was peeling and the shower head was kind of useless between water pressure and stream size. The pool is currently closed which Expedia sort of notes but there’s no clear alert to that. And the welcome message you get still includes the pool information. The pool is closed because it is being refaced with started about 8 am which was unexpected since the desk didn’t mention a time or even that repair work was being done.
